When does the eye color change?

I'm dying to know what color my baby's eyes are going to end up.

I'm right there with you. I want to know what my DD's eyes are going to be like too. She is 3 months old and they are still blue. One of my friends daughters eyes didn't turn until she was almost a year old.
Maybe someone on here can help us both out.

w/ my 1st dd, her eyes changed colors i think at about 6 months.
2nd dd, hers changed after 9 months.
3rd dd, she just turned 11 months and hers are still blue.  so we're wondering if hers will stay that way or not.
i guess every baby is different!

I'm wondering the same ds is 3 months still blue but lighter then they were in the beginning not the slate blue any more.  Some days they look aqua and ar SO gorgeous.  I'm anxiously waiting too !  I've heard 6 months

My doctor says the general rule is 7mths but I don't believe her lol. My daughters eyes were blue until she was 5 1/2 now she is 7 and they are greenish blue. My son had blue eyes up until a year now his eyes are brown...

The average seems to be around 6 months but there are so many exceptions. My son had an undecided color until about 5 months and then they turned into the light blue they still are now 5 years later. I think there are great variations depending on the genetic mix throughout a few of your generations.
Some ethnic groups have brown eyes only, so their dominance will likely come through sooner. In my family there is nothing but blue eyes way back 3 generations paternal and maternal but my son`s dad has brown eyes. I guess that`s what we saw for the first few months as a dull and dark shade of blue and then it switched to bright blue.

All three of mine kept blue eyes until around their first year or a little beyond. My oldest has true green eyes, my middle has hazel green with a little spot of gray at the 1 o'clock position on his left eye, and my nearly 17 month old still has my bright blue eyes.

Both of my daughters eyes turned Hazel/Green when they were about 7 months now their eyes are BROWN! lol  My son has the really pretty slate blue eyes (unlike my daughters) so I am wondering what his will be!!

my niece is almost 5 and i swear they just seem to have finally changed from blue to grey to a beautiful green.

Usually they say 1 year.  Both my boys have beautiful bright blue eyes.  Carson will be 5 in August, I think his will stay.  Cameron's are even brighter and he will be 1 in just under 2 weeks.  I hope they stay since they are so pretty.  It's about the first thing people notice when they see them.  My eyes change with the weather it seems.  Kinda hazel, kinda green, kinda gray some days.  I don't really get it, but the boys have been consistent.  It's fun to see how they will end up though.  Carson's blonde hair is now turning brown and Cam is still a strawberry blonde.
