When to start Clomid

When to start Clomid

I am supposed to take clomid days 5 - 9, but what day do you count as the first day of your cycle.
I spotted lightly for a day or so, then really started.
So is day 1 when I started lightly spotting or when I had a heavier flow?

Any advice ---

I'm also on Clomid and have heard conflicting stories.  I start my count from the first day I have anything.  Call your doctor and ask him what he thinks.  They are the best people to advise you.

Great luck and extra sticky baby dust!

You should count day 1 as the first day of actual menstrual flow.  In other words the day after you were spotting when you had AF full force.

I agree with sparky, day 1 is the first actual flow day.  Not spotting.

Okay I know this sounds stupid, but with my PCOS I went years without a period.

How do I distinguish between a light flow and spotting?
