Your post is confusing.  I don't believe amox is ever dosed as a liquid for adults - it's a tablet.  Is she suggesting she drink a bottle of amox that was prescribed for someone else,  in an attempt to try to cure her sore throat?

No,  don't do that.

Doctors will prescribe liquid form for adults who can't swallow pills, (believe it or not).

She should not take the amoxicillin unless the doctor prescribed it for her.
