I am asthmatic but i'm not in your stuation yet. I am 13 weeks. I have been using my inhalor (albutrol) almost everyday, as needed. My nurse said it was ok to use as much as needed. Two weeks ago I came down with a cold and I had to use my nebulizer. I called the nurse and she also said it was ok. I went to safefetus.com and did a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys research on my own and basically, there hasn't been enough studies done on the asthmatic mothers and the use of albutrol. SadDepression but true. But if you read the drug information that comes in the box with the inhaler, it may have some information regarding pregnant mothers and the percentage of birth defects. I'm also concerned about this but it seems no one know the effects on the fetus. But I think that it's far worse than not being able to breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor and therefore, he/she not getting enough oxygen from us. Which is what my nurse told me regarding the use of the inhaler and nebulizer.
