bad dreams or mothers intuition? Starting to Panic

bad dreams or mothers intuition? Starting to Panic

I am thirty six weeks pregnant today and the last two nights I have had horrible dreams that my little boy has nearly died while I'm still pregnant.  They were so real and at first I just pawned them off on being stressed and wierd pregnancy attributes but then this morning I have yet to feel him move much which is very unusual.  The only time I think I felt him it was once and very small.  Should I worry?  Any advice would help, thanks.

Any significant change in movement warrants a call to your Dr.   Go with your instincts.

If you're really concerned, contact your doctor.  It is better than being worried.  Remember, the baby is pretty much out of room by this point and can't move much anyway.  It is common to feel him move less.  I'm sure your baby will be just fine but call the doc for peace of mind.

I drank something with a lot of sugar like the Dr. told me and did a kick count after.  In 1 hour there were 9 movements but they were very subtle not nearly as strong as he was yesterday.  I know at this stage the movements are less because of space but literally overnight it has lessoned quite a bit.  With my first I had no problems and wasn't really paranoid but then after a miscarriage before this one I worry about everything.

babies have days just like we do where they are less active.. if you are feeling the movements then everything should be ok.  If it makes you feel better do the fetal kick counts every few hours.  When I would get paranoid with my last pregnancies I would lay down and take my hands and GENTLY push my uterus back and forth to wake the baby up until I felt a few good kicks to ease my mind.

im 1 day shy of you. 35w6d, and this morning i had the same experience. however i didnt feel any movement what so ever until around 12 noon when i had lunch at work. thanks to my doppler i have on hand whenever i get those scares, i wasnt worried because his heart rate was completely fine. i just think that babies tend to have there days at times. especially now due to limited space. it could be normal at this point, but remember you know your baby, and your body, therefore if you get too worried, a trip to the dr wouldnt hurt. its always best to be on the safe side. take care

Well you're supposed to feel 10 or more movements in an hour. You should call your doc and ask them what you should do! I would definitely do another count and see if he's being more active again. If he's not, you should go to the ER.

Pregnant women have strange dreams, so I don't think that means you should worry.
