brown period

i always have a normal period. everythings always fine after a couple of months of trying nothing happened so we just stopped.things were fine no worries until last saturday when i came home to find brown all over my under garments. i thought it would go away and a couple days later it would be normal.so i waited and waited and it was still brown. this wasnt a flow either. it was very dark and light. no cramps. i feel perfectlty normal. my friend shared with me that the way she found out she was pregnant with her son was when she began to spot brown in place of her period. . .what do you think the chances are? should i visit my doctor?

You can take a HPT, that's the only way to tell.

I don't know, I'm having similar problem.  I started my period and it was normal and now all of a sudden it's brown, no cramps, I keep thinking I'm done with af and then I have this brown stuff going on.  I don't know what is going on.

I'm having the same thing going on too.  I was due to start AF today, but have been having this brown stuff too for the last 3 days.  I keep thinking AF is going to come any minute, but so far nothing.  Not even cramps.  I'm thinking about picking up an HPT if I don't start by tomorrow.

im thinking the same. but its weird becuz hit or miss a couple of days i was pretty normal. the day i got the brown i was like a week or 2 late then i got the brown stuff. i dnt know what to think tho.

I'm hoping that it's implantation bleeding, but I don't want to get my hopes up to high.  I still have a feeling that AF is going to show up.

i was hoping for that also. see my period usually spots the first day but pink and normally is light. but this was not my usual period. i didnt think of pregnancy or anything untill a friend said that when she experienced this she found out she was about 4 weeks pregnant.
