brown spotting

is it normal to have brown spotting for a couple days in early pregnancy?

Some women will have brown spotting in early pregnancy due to implantation. But you should let your doctor know, they will want to document any bleeding/spotting in your pregnancy. Also, during my first pregnancy when I had brown spotting my doctor told me not to have any sex until it stops and then wait 7 more days. Your doctor may want to check your HCG levels just to make sure they are going up. When I miscarried it started with just brown spotting, but I have friends that have had brown and/or red blood in the first trimester and everything being fine.

the thing is im on the patch birth control so can it be that i've my husband and i arent careful during sex never had brown spotting on bc  i have a son and never had brown spotting
