confused!

so last night i was up from 1.30 - 4.30 having quite painful contractions on average 4 mins apart. what should i expect next? is labour pretty close?? oh yeah after 4.30 the contractions must have died down as i was able to sleep.... thanks in advance for ANY info or advice!

When are you due? They could be BH, they can get painful sometimes. I had painful BH contractions with my son starting at 36 weeks and didn't go into actual labor until 5 days before my due date.

im due on oct 6th so just under 2 weeks.... i was having b.h a couple of weeks ago, that were completely painless, but very regular for a couple of days. but last night the pain woke me up and were very uncomfortable, hopefully slow labour but doubt it cos i have had NOTHING today! i suppose i just have to wait and see!

every twinge at the end makes you think it could be labour, you will know once you are in proper labour though, is this your 1st baby?
