what I have heard....(and did on my ds, and it worked) was use baby oil. you rub it in their hair and use a fine tooth comb and comb it off, and of course you have to wash the hair afterward.
My daughter has the eyebrow one too. I just wipe it with a wet wash cloth. It seems to be going away now. I never put anything on it because it is so close to her eyes.
I forgot to ask this... Does the cradle cap smell?? Michael's head smells good only after a shampoo his hair. He sweats a lot through his head but I think that smell has something to do with the cradle cap.
Brayden didn't even have any cradle cap until he reached 2 months old.. I'm thinking.. huh?? why now?? It all of a sudden appeared out of no where! I got some of the Cradle Cap Care lotion from Gentle Naturals at walmart and after I gave him a bath I put it on his little head and let it sit on there for a little while, then used a very fine tooth comb and combed it out. Surprisingly he fell asleep by me doing that. It must have felt good? It took me a while and his hair looked hideous with all the flakes in it afterward, but so far so good! If I notice some I just do the same all over again. But keep in mind that the lotion has to be washed out afterwards. I just lay him on a folded up blanket and wash his head using very soaked wash cloths and maybe pour some water on too.
Good Luck.. I know I hated seeing it too!! It drove me crazy!!
Anybody has the eyebrow one???
