cvs testing...results tomorrow and nervous today,,,any advice?

I know no one can honestly tell me the results will be perfectly normal...Has anyone had this done with positive results for b/d's and if so, how did you cope?  Thanks for any advice.  Good luck to all and lots and lots of baby dust!

Hi kb, sorry, I am not at the "top of my game" today...the test performed Friday was a chrionic villi sampling test.  It is where they test for d/s, cystic fibrosis and a host of other possible b/d's.  It is mainly done in women over 35 and I have had complications so far, so it was recommended.  At this point, if it comes back positive for a b/d I could not bear to terminate, so I was just wondering if anyone out there has had this test and gotten the results we all fear and how they coped.  I am kind of putting the cart before the horse, but I am getting more and more nervous the closer to getting the results...I almost dont want to know the results....Please say a prayer for us.

I had it done. I had no problems. Can I suggest genetic testing in addition for you and hubby. I had it done to rule out so many eastern european linked stuff.(Tasach,cf,et.) I found out I am a carrier for Cf which is fine as long as my partner isn't and he wasn't. I will pray but stay come mommy :)
