First, have you been seen and treated by a Dr regarding this toothache. Second, if you have been seen and treated, did you tell him/her you were pregnant?
If your Dr. gave you the amoxicillin for this problem and he knew you were pregnant, it is safe. But the Ibuprofen is absolutely not safe to take while pregnant. If you have already taken Ibuprofen, let your dr. know when, and how much.
You can try Tylenol which is safe to take during pregnancy when the dosing instructions are followed. Along with the Tylenol, or any generic acetaminophen (make sure it is plain acetaminophen and not combined with some other analgesic) you may want to try a topical analgesic such as Anbesol.
It is important that you seek medical attention for this toothache soon if you haven't already because it could be an abscess which requires treatment. If, by chance, you have some amoxicillin left over from a previous illness, DONT'T TAKE IT. Go to your dr. for treatment he/she feels suitable for you and your particular problem.
I took tylenol when my wisdom tooth decided to kill me and I was about 5 weeks pregnant. I read that in the first trimester tylenol is safe. How far along are you? Ibuprofen is not advised to take however I did take it but just like you I did not know it wasn't safe, but there is nothing you can do about it and most likely everything is fine if you did not take a huge dose. Talk to your dentist or ob/gyn about it, I'm sure there is something out there for pregnant women, but make sure to ask your dr and don't take anything without permission.
