Hystero salpingo gram.  It's a procedure done to see if your tubes are blocked or to check for scarring in the uterus and on the fallopian tubes.  I had the procedure done when it was taking forever to conceive.  They insert a dye into your uterus, it runs through your tubes and they can see if the tubes are blocked or if the dye has difficulty going through smoothly.  They usually tell you to wait a couple of days before having sex but then I believe you can start trying right away.  Sometimes an hsg will clear your tubes from debri and it makes it easier to conceive.  I got pregnant almost one year after the hsg so I don't know how true it is.
