I have 2 kids, both had 2 normal pregnancies.  Lat year I had 2 MC's.  I went for a blood test, and 14 tubes and a week later they told me I need to go on Lovenxo, injections.
I am terrified to injest myself and my husband will not help me do it, he is scared of needles.  Also, How did I have 2 kids?  Will this mean I will have a baby with complications, problems now?????

All I know about Lovenox is that it is a blood thinner....I had to get injections of it after they found 9 blood clots in my leg. Did they tell you WHY you needed it? From what I have researched, it does not have any effects on the baby.

I would figure out WHY you need it first of all - if you have a clotting disorder of some sort, that could have explained your miscarriages. I do Lovenox shots for an immune disorder and let me tell you it DOESN'T hurt. Just pinch up the little belly skin, it is that slight ***** sensation for about 5 seconds and it's done. My boyfriend wont watch - he freaks out. But I know that by doing it my little thing is safe and sound in there. Also - beware that your stomach will bruise a WHOLE lot also. likely you were found to have  a clotting disorder causing your m/c.  i was found to have this after my two m/c as well.  i also have two children.  my dr. explained that it is something that progresses and gets worse as you get older, so that at the time of your first pregnancy it wasn't maybe bad enough to cause a m/c but by the time of your last pregnancy it had gotten worse.  i also do lovenox, it is not found to cause birth defects.  the injections are much easier than they seem.  go to your dr. office and have the nurse teach you and she can give you the first one and you will see that it is simple and you can do it.

They told me I tested + for MTHFR, and i have only 1 copy of it from 1 parent.  It is a bit of a relief to know that the actual pregnancies were normal in the past and they found how I can help the current pregnancy I am in.  i am just worried cause I am already over 8 weeks and just starting the shots tomorrow,  Hope the fetus is still vital!!!!  I will take the shots over another D and C and hearbreak.  I have 2 sons and my last miscarrage (miscarriage) was a girl.  Hopefully I will go full term and have a healthy baby, whatever it is, just healthy!
