"6 months pregnant" means different things, so it is hard to say unless we know how many weeks pregnant you are, counting from the first day of your last menstrual period.

In a first time mother, fetal movement usually is felt anywhere from 18-22 weeks, probably the average being close to 20 weeks of pregnancy.

In second and subsequent pregnancies, it is usually felt a bit earlier, from 16-20 weeks, with most women recognizing movement around 17-18 weeks on average.

But these are just averages.  Some women feel movement much earlier, and some later.  If you are concerned, you should ask your doctor about it.

With my first I didn't feel kicks until week 20 but with this one I felt babe at week 16.  My sis didn't feel Anden until about 22 weeks (start of 6th month).  Pregnancies vary.
