my sick child

hello my 3 year old son is at childrens hospital in detroit right now because he very ill he was a premee at birth 1 pound 12oz 2 months after birth he had to get a vp shunt placed in his head because of fluid on the brain he came home after 4 in a half months an he was fine sence then an then started havn lots of revisions in his head now the doctors telling us that its better in his back cause of less revisions so we did an this shunt is called a lumbar shunt it sits on the spine now i hate that we did now he has a e coli infection in the spine he keep havn fever in the 100s he dont want to eat right his heart rate keep droping low as 50 when he is sleep then back up a lil when he awakes he been on atibotics for a week an the infection still not clearing up an he also  seem like hes coming down wit a cold  now in the result of this surgery he is already a small child  he only weigh 24 pounds at the age of 3years old they keep doing all these test an stil dont no whats going on an the infections is getn worst can some one please tell whats going on with my child if i loose him i dont no what i will do my num is 313-828-0385 my name shon

I'm very sorry to hear your son is sick.   I hope the Dr's can help him.  Please be careful posting your number on a forum like this.  Not everyone has good intentions.
