need your opinions...how do my numbers sound???

WHEW...finally got back the blood work.  I had it taken yesterday 1/2 (supposed to get my AF today) hcg was 162 / progestrone 17.  I'm having more bloodwork done on Monday to make sure my numbers are doubling & make sure my progestrone is still at 17 or above.  Does this sound right to you ladies?  I'm so nervous...

Sally, I'm about 4 or 5 days before my period, but got a positive on a pregnancy test.  My hcg was 27 and progesterone was 17.  I'm worried that's too low too, I'm going back on Friday.  Period is due Saturday....but I'm already pregnant....so, I hope my levels double.

If you were due AF today, those are good numbers. You would be about 14 DPO, correct? Good luck!

Sallystar - I just read your post again. You should be around 4 weeks. My hcg level was 176 at 4 weeks 2 days (I think) and it more than doubled in two days. I think your numbers look fine. As long as they at least double you're good.

Allie1980 - Your numbers look fine too. As long as your numbers double evey two days you're hcg will be higher than mine at 4 weeks 2 days. Don't worry too much!

I totally understand. I had a m/c in January and just now finally got pg again. I've been worrying about every little thing. I was told I could get the hcg tests whenever I wanted them but I decided after the second one that I don't want to have to hold my breath every 48 hours to see if my numbers have doubled. It's too nerve racking. My numbers almost tripled from the first test so that's enough for me. It's just like jenshim posted...you can't change what's going to happen so why worry about it! I had decided that very same thing on Monday when I was supposed to go in for the hcg blood test (doctor did not order me to go but told me I could do it for peace of mind). I told myself that if I'm going to m/c it's going to happen no matter what those numbers tell me. I'm going to stay as positive as I can and hope that this baby sticks around. We can't wait to meet him/her. We get our first view of the baby on the 8th when I should be 6 weeks 2 days. I know I'll be crushed if anything is wrong but I'm not going to stress over it unless bad news happens.

I really think your numbers are perfectly normal. I'm so happy for you. When is your first appt scheduled? Good luck with your baby! I wish you and your family the best!

At 14 DPO my hcg was 143. I think your numbers are good.  Good luck and try not to go crazy until next Monday.  I remember how much I hated the waiting! :)
