Im sure your doc will give you the right amount of folic acid. That is the only thing I know that could help. Im so sorry to hear about your m/c.

Omega 3- fatty acids are good to take when you are expecting and they help in neural development.  I take one flax seed oil supplement each day, or fish is also a great source.  I am so sorry for your loss, take care.

thank you for your advice, I just can't believe that I didn't know that I needed to take more of folic acid. I'm taking it now 4mg daily of folic acid plus a multivitamin too.  I wish someone had told me or asked me if I was taking enough of folic acid, so now I'm telling everyone who's thinking about getting pregnant to take folic acid before they get pregnant, it could save their baby's life.
