no heartbeat

has anyone not seen the heartbeat at 8 weeks?

i went at 12 weeks and  i didn't hear it but we did an ultrasound then and saw the baby was fine.  Did u not hear it and or see it?

In my current pregnancy I went to the doctor as soon as I found out I was pregnant. Going from the first day of last period, I was 7 1/2 weeks, my dr didn an u/s because I had a blight ovum before. The u/s showed just a sac with no heartbeat. You'd be surprised how many women conceive later than what they think though. I went back in another week (and also had Hcg levels taken) and saw the heartbeat, It turned out I was only 6 weeks when we first saw teh heartbeat at the 2nd u/s.  Did your dr schedule another u/s about a week or so later? I know its hard, but try not to get too worried until you have your hcg tested to see if its doubling as it should and also have another u/s in a week or so. I hope it turns out good for you. The heart usually develops around 6 weeks.  Are you sure about your date.

Please clarify if you can't "SEE" the HB on an U/S or "HEAR" the HB with a fetal Doppler.
If you ovulated late, you might not be 6 weeks yet.

i'm 7 weeks prega i did an ultrasound yesterday ,bt i didn't see or hear a heartbeat bt i seein this dark brown discharge,so i'm scared.
