never! j/k it seams like it i bet, consistently about 10-12 months but he will probably start to wake up just once soon. but every baby is different hang in there, you just have to tell yourself it is only temporary. and make sure you have a routine it helps good luck

I laughed at first Chel125!
My son is 4 1/2 months and he is going to bed around 7:30 and waking up to feed at 2:30.
My sisters kids were sleeping at about 5-6 weeks though.
At that age, sleeping through the night I think is 5-6 hours at a pop! It goes quick!

Well, my son started to sleep through the night at around 4 months.  Are you nursing?  It makes a bit different between bf and formula babies since babies digest breast milk faster.  Anyhoo, Hayden is now 9.5 weeks and she just started to sleep from 10:00 to 5:00 in the morning, I actually had to wake her up this morning to feed.  She was getting up at 3:30 or so to nurse.  I hope this will last.....they can change their patterns at anytime.

My son is 6 1/2 months and he's still waking up at 3 for a feeding...i know i just wish that he could sleep through the night...lol.
Sometimes he wakes up even more, he was doing well for a while but started waking up again...i guess too because he is teething.

You could try getting a GOOD swaddle.  I LOVE the ones made by Halo (baby's can not escape from them LOL).  Anyway, we brought one for Jazmine at about 6 weeks and from that day, she has slept through the night except for about a week when she was going through a growth spurt and wanted to nurse at 2am.

I guess I am spoiled...Jeremiah was a good sleeper from day one and he is breastfed. I think he started sleeping through the night by 2 1/2months...moved him to his own room by 4 1/2 months. He is almost 6 months and sleeps 11-12 hours. I guess every baby is different! Hang in there though...I just stuck to a strict schedule when it came time to sleeping...It eventually paid off. Trying putting him to sleep in different positions. Like spade said, try a swaddle (Jeremiah never liked them which I thought was weird!)...He has to sleep on his belly...he use to spit up so much he would choke and never sleep. Before he was 2 months he was on his side...now he sleeps on his belly. I guess it's comfy to him!

All babies are different, my niece slept through the night at 3 months and my son didn't sleep all the way through until about 8 or 9 months.

Quinn began sleeping through the night at 4 months. I am lucky, the kid loves to sleep.

One of the books I read, said it is natural for most babies to settle down and start sleeping through the night between 6 and 8wks.  It also define sleeping through the night as 5 or more hours.

Congrats that is great news.
