sorry to those who i should have given an update to

i took your advice went to the hospital sat there for 5 hours and finally left so i still don't know anything new i have been so sick this past weekend that i have just been in bed i can't eat if i do it just comes right back up or i feel so sick that i don't eat crackers don't stay down nor does water still running a fever for 2 weeks and my doc says nothing about it just take a fever reducer so if any of you have any tips that would be wonderful

no i am pregnant and i have so kind of infection that my doc has done nothing about but nothing stays down

Nacole, you really need to be seen. Can you make an appointment then if you don't want to sit in the ER? It's too bad you weren't able to get seen. Please don't give up. Go back in and persist until you get seen. This has been going on too long and you want to make sure you and your baby will be healthy. You may very well have some sort of infection that will take antibiotics to get you better. Please try again until you get seen by a doctor. I hope you will get well real soon.

Oh, that's awful.  I guess I can see the throwing up etc. as not being too concerning for them, but hte fever is a bad thing.  I think really all you can do is take Tylenol.  I would definitely call your Dr. and give them an update on your temp and tell the nurse your concern.  That is way too long to be running a temp anyway, and there may be something serious going on.  I would be worried too if your Dr. is not helping with this, about how supportive and even how much they will listen to you or take care of your needs as you get further along.  Poor thing.  I would keep drinking fluids and take Tylenol for the fever.  I didn't get anything like that when I was pregnant,  but had bad morning sickness and lost over 15 lbs. with each pregnancy, even my m/c.  My 2 boys were big babies and born very healthy.  Babies are tough, but there's something going on there of you are still running a fever.  I guess if you can't get anywhere there, is there an urgent care that can get you in?  Tell them you are pregnant, they can't do a whole lot during pregancy, but they should really look into what's going on.

ty all so much for your concern i have been taking a nausea pill that i got when i had a virus and it helps a little but not much i am hoping to get in with a good doc this week and i keep having this taste like i have a penny in my mouth that makes me sik so i hope that goes away but ty all

Just be sure that the med you are taking is okay for use during pregnancy.  Not everyhting is okay.  I would call your pharmacist.

Okay, ya didn't say anything about vomiting blood.  I think that you need to just be persistent with your Dr. or go to the ER when it's not so busy, but get in right away.  I know pregnant women tend to get a metallic taste in their mouth, and vomiting is normal, but fevers and vomiting blood are not okay.  I would be really freaked out if I were you, honestly.  You need to get in ASAP, the longer you let this go on, the more you put yourself and baby at risk.  I would get off the computer and go in right now.

Make sure to stress the fact that you have been vomitting blood! Over and over if you have to. This should be higher up on the triage level than vomittin/fever alone. It is possible that you have torn something while vomitting so hard. Let us know how it goes.

I know, I just popped back to see if she went.  I would be so worried by now, if not for me ,definitely about the baby.  Sometimes you just have to go in and get things taken care of, taking old meds will not help.  Once the baby gets here, trust me, you will be a the Dr. alot.  Hope your in the office now, good luck.
