This is on behalf of a dear friend of mine who has been ttc for 18 months. She had another iui this past month (13 days ago in fact)and is taking progesterone. Since thursday (10dpo) she has been spotting and cramping so she fully expected her period was trying to come. She even had a gush of red blood yesterday and a couple days before that. She tested Friday and the test was negative but today she got a bfp! I am so excited but we are all very cautiously optimistic. My question, are the spotting/red gushes and cramping a bad sign, anyone have this and it all still be ok? She had two quality follicles this cycle, so it could it be that one didnt take and that's why the spotting???? I am just really praying she is finally pg with a sticky bean. She goes in for bloodwork tomorrow. I am PRAYING for her to have a healthy preghnancy, she is a very close friend. I am due to have my second baby in 4 weeks.... Thanks for any input you can offer....
