"survey" for women with 2 or more kids of different sexes

Hi everyone...just wondering if I can get some of you to answer this question for me, I am a very curious person! :) ok, really, I'm just trying to figure if I'm having a boy or girl.

So...I have 1 girl, age 8, and 2 boys, 6 and 3.

I was really sick with my daughter, and not even a little bit with my boys. I have several friends that have had the same experience, girls = puking and boys, not so much.

We have a theory that maybe it's got something to do with hormones, that the overload of female hormones causes more nausea when you have a female fetus. far-fetched, I know, but maybe...

so, I won't have my ultrasound for another 10 weeks, but am DYING to know what I'm having. And, I'm sick!!! hmmmm, since I was sick with my daughter, not with my boys...what do you think?

Were you more sick when pregnant with girls than boys, or is it just me and my little circle of friends?

Well i have 2 boys and no girls so i will comment. =-) With both my boys i didnt have very much morning sickness. In fact with both i vomited one time during the entire pregnancies and both times it was right after I ate at Wendy's. Weird huh?

I had a girl,  I had morning sickness with very little puking.  I had ALOT of skin issues.  I was like a teenager again with the acne and was told that was a sign of a girl.

I had a boy with no morning sickness, didn't even feel pregnant except maybe a little more tired. Now I am 21 weeks pregnant with a girl and I was sick 24/7 until 14 weeks and then only evening sickness, now I am mostly ok.  I don't think the more sickness with girls is true for everybody, but definetly for me and for some of my friends too! Good luck!

I've had 3 boys and with them i was never sick! just alittle tired and alittle nausea.
I am just 12 wks pg and have never experienced sickness like this? I voimit every morning, nauseas through the night, really really tired apart from all the other things not fancing anything to eat etc.

I have my big scan in 8-9 wks and will be having the sex done...cant wait to test to test the theory...lol

My 1st DC is a girl, was never sick with her, and felt great most of the time.

My 2nd DC was a boy, was a little bit sick with him. Broke out in lots of zits too

Almost 36 weeks with my 3rd DC who is also a boy. Was VERY sick with him. Broke out in tons of zits, and am feeling every freaking ache and pain there is during pg.

I have 3 girls and a boy. I was REALLY sick with my first two (girls) and had to spend practicaly the first trimester in the hospital because I couldnt stop throwing up. My 3rd (girl) I was just a "normal" sick, my 4th (boy) I was almost as sick as the first two.
So who knows if the hormone thing is true or not. My grandma has two kids, she was sick with my mom and didn't throw up once with my uncle. :)

It is true for me.  I wasn't sick at all with my son three years ago.  I was so sick the first 14 weeks this time and I just found out it is a girl.  Everyone kept trying to convince me that I was having a girl because of the morning sickness, but I didn't want to get my hopes up.  I have also been extremely moody and irritable this time.

ok, I have 5 kids, first;2 girls, then 3 boys.

With my first DD I threw up every day for like 2 months.
Second child (DD) got sick alot but less, threw up a couple times, but strong aversion to breaded foods (shrimp, chicken, etc.)
3rd child barely sick at all, threw up once-boy
4th child did not throw up once, barely remember being sick, ate ALOT.
5th child, naseous from the approximate time I O'd half way through my cycle until I found out at 6weeks, but never threw up.  I think for me it seemed more like my body slowly adjusted to being pregnant with each child.  Although, I was way more sick with the girls, they were also the first 2 pregnancies I had.  I would have to have another girl now to really be able to tell if it was related to gender.

I was sick as a dog with all four girls, vomiting throughout most of the pregnancy. This is my fifth child-a boy. No morning sickness whatsoever. I thought something was wrong after all those girls making me sick. It's just because it's a boy (: He has been easy on me!

I was sick with my DD the first 3 months of preg.  My DS I had just a TAD nausea... my youngest DS 4 months old I was sick throughout the WHOLE preg. I had hopes up that it was going to be a girl til my US.. So it just shows you that you cant count on the symptoms.. I was dissapointed but that quickly vanished. I LOVE my youngest as much as I would have if he were a girl :)
