update on son's bruising

I took my son to the doc yesterday. They ordered a few test. They did a CBC, glucose test, thyroid, and elctolyte. I will find out today at 1:30 what if anything is wronge. He has also went from 32 to 25 pounds in 3 months. So something is odviously wrong, for him to loose weight like that. I will updat again on this topic after I find out the results.

Well everything came back ok, except one segment of the cbc was 4 points high and his urine ph was low. He goes abck the 27th for a follow up with his ped. doc. I'm just wondering why he is losing weight.

What part of the CBC was high?  His glucose??

If all tests are normal then they need to do more extensive blood tests. My daughter had to see a rhuematologist and have specialized blood tests to find out about her immune system problem. My sister has a bleeding disorder called Von Wielbrands diseise and they have to do very specialized testing to find out about it. I would deffiantly research it father because it sounds like something is not right.

Thank you for updating us on your son.  My daughter continues to bruise.  I need to take her in as well.  I pray that this is nothing serious with your son.  If there is a problem, that the solution will be easy and manageable.  Take care and let us know how things are going.

My son is 3 and bruises easy, is hungry all the time and occasional legs hurt.  He wants me to carry him soemtimes and doesnt want to walk.  He is also irritable and moody and cries easily.  He has celiac disease but has been on  gluten free diet for 2 years.

How is your son? Did he ever get any diagnosis?

My son has had lots of bloodwork with the hematologist and things look okay now however after he had the flu in dec he got very sick and they thought he had leukemia but that was neagtive.

Hello.

I had a question about your sister having van willebrands disease.

I am takign my 3 year old son to the hematologist on friday. He has already been there 3 times and she says things are normal.

However he bruises very easily. He doesnt have a lot of bleedin if he gets a cut outside on hsi body and neve has nose bleeds.

he is hungry all the time and irritbale, moddy and cranky and his legs hurt soemtiems and he wants me to carry him.

what were your sisters symtoms (symptoms)?

My sister started bruising a lot and she turned out to have leukemia. So, please watch your kids very closely!!!
