i am 6weeks 5days pregnant, today i had a transvag u/s today and saw a gestational sac, a yolk sac, but no fetal pole. is this normal???    

the doctor had my hcg done today and have it done again on July 5 (thursday)

yes i think it is ok to not see a baby, it is very early, my friend is 5 weeks and the doctor did not made an u/s to give her a due date because it is too early. i had an u/s at 11 weeks and my baby was only 3 cm can you imagine how big is 3 cm?

When I was a little under 6 weeks, all the doctor saw on the ultrasound was a gestational sac -- but everything was where it was supposed to be when I went back around eight weeks
