some funny stories....high school sure was clicky...like the wet sponge story...And as Bill Gates wisely said be Nice To The Nerds chances are you will work for one someday.
I would go to medical school. Maybe next time.
So thats what happens in US schools or did, I nearly fell off my chair giggling at all of your antics , I thought the picture of guys running under swings hillarious ,,,,,,
I'd actually TELL the teachers when they were trying to 'teach' me things that were patently b******* that they didn't know what they were talking about and to go and get a real job in the real world. I wouldn't have dropped the duster out of the 2nd storey window on to the school bully, nor would I have put the wet sponge on my classmate's chair and she wouldn't have blackened my eye. Hey, I DID learn something at school after all!
Applied for an AWAY from home college..............like out of state!!!!!!!!!!
I would go to a co ed school, but silly me chose an all girl school ~~:) that was a no brainer eh LOL
Yeah we did too!! But I remember being in 2nd grade and not wearing any shorts under my dress and swinging on the swings. The boys would run under the swings while we were swinging.
I hope my daughter don't turn out like me.
We had to wear shorts under our dresses!!!!
On second thought, I turned out just fine even with all the classes I skipped, heck I even graduated early. I had a lot of fun in high school and it's a good thing I did since my childhood was cut pretty short when I got pregnant at 19.
I would have actually went to my classes.
I would have never gotten involved with cute boy in my art class in 8th grade. I was in love with him all through high school and he turned out to be quite the jerk! Mr. Jock who used girls and then dumped them! I wouldn't have given him the time of day! LOL!!!!
I would go back to school so that I could break up with the dumb jock who was more inlove with himself than me, and I would hook up with my lab partner in my chem. class. Yep, I wished I would of dated the nerdy lab partner. Believe it or not, he was a cute nerd. Plus I loved talking to him because atleast he had a brain! LOL I waisted 3 yrs. on that jock and though football was so important to him, he never made it in college, yep, he blew out his knee in his first year. Ah- I feel better already. Oh, did I mention that my cute little nerd is now a OB-GYN, go figure.
Today you can *text* it .. no need for the note!
I used to call the valedictorian by her last name and double it like "Smith Smith" .... then yrs. later I married a man with her same last name ............... I shouldn't have done that to her all those years. Guilt.
Fast Fwd .. 3yrs later I found her online and wrote her an apology for me being so mean back then .. and proceeded to tell her I now share her maiden name
So I guess in life what goes around comes around ..... . but yeah, looking back I could have said it once or twice, but not for four years.
BTW, she "grew up" to be a Psychologist .. I wonder what she really thinks of me now LOL!
C~
Yea, its funny now..............but it was awful when they called my mom to come to school!! Another girl told on me. What a brat!! Anyway, now I have a girl in kindergarten and my husband is hoping she doesnt take after me! hehe
suziepan, you made me laugh right out loud. I remember a girl in my kindergarten class who would twirl and twirl around in her dress until her panties showed, and I always wished I had the courage to do that. Very daring, like a baby Marilyn Monroe.
hahahahahaha.
I wouldnt have taken other peoples opinions of me soooo seriously.................
and I wouldnt have pulled my dresses up to show the boys my panties!
OOPS, that was in the first grade!!! LOL!!
well one thing for sure is i couldnt have partied any more cause thats all i did...lmao
I didn't have a good high school experience and graduated in 3 years to get away. If I could do it over, I'd have either graduated even earlier or gotten a GED, whichever would've been faster!
i would have kicked one of the nuns were the son didn't shine ,!!
I was always getting asked out by the really different guys who moved to their own drum. I rejected them for the more popular boring guys. I am now in my 2nd marriage and he would have been one of those unique individuals. I missed out.
Part of me says that I'd change nothing because it made me who I am today.....But then there is the other side of me says....I'd chase every skirt that crossed my path, worry less about what other thought, and lived my life for me, rather than for what I thought that people wanted me to be.
i wouldnt have tried to run away from the resource officer in my chevy with a ciggarette in my mouth a an open bear can in my lap. in case your wondering i was drinkin on campus lol
