What Does Your Tag Mean?

What Does Your Tag Mean?

Just curious for people who have tags (images) for themselves. Unless its a photo of yourself, what does it mean? If you haven't thought about it, perhaps think about it a second. Why did you pick that image? Is it some aspect of your life? What? I've described mine enough but besides being an aspect of tardive psychosis (a criteria I am under study for) it reflects the way people see me (with the severe physical disability) vs. the way I am mentally recovered and also a longing to bridge the two gaps and give my recovery back to others through advocacy. So perhaps yours says something about yourself? But what?

Actually that's easily accomplished. Go to "upload photo" and click on browse and put the jpg image of the photo you want and then click "upload". I believe it takes a specific period of time to get approved and then you have your new tag or image.

Mine is a photo of Richard, my lovebird, sitting on the keyboard of my old Dell laptop.  Richard wants to be inculded in EVERYTHING I do, and sits on the keyboard when I go online, so I put his birdie face in my profile!  When I'm online, so is Richard.

Cowgirlnerd comes from being a typical southern girl - born in Texas - raised in Alabama, loves to wear the cowgirl boots (ropers), ride horses, be a tomboy, but has a big old brain that knows alot about alot of silly stuff.  It's not uncommon for me to be in the office with my ropers, jeans, and fixing a computer issue or creating a formula for a spreadsheet, etc.  (my kids actually told me "Mom, you are like a Cowgirl Nerd!")....

Hence, cowgirlnerd.

My picture that's on my profile is actually a picture that was taken a few years ago for a friend that needed headshots for her photography studio.  It haunts my Mom because it "looks soooo sad." which is the way I feel a lot of the time with BP.  I have another picture that I want to integrate that has me smiling and put the 2 beside each other - like a split vision.  BUT, that dark picture of me on the site is actually a good vision of the dark side of BP.
