From what I've read this hormonal medication is not a contraceptive so you can get pregnant while taking it. If you do get pregnant, you should stop taking it.
Hormonal medications can cause melasma in some women. As far as the receding hairline, it's not unusual to lose some hair when ovarian hormones switch from their reproductive role to their menopausal role / level of hormones. Taking hormones seems to help some women's hair but not others. Joint pain is also fairly common after menopause when the ovaries produce less estrogen (although they produce a bit of testosterone for decades after menopause - at least to age 80).
Have you had a complete endocrine workup to see if the POF could be from an endocrine abnormality such as thyroid, pituitary or adrenal? Of course, some medical treatments such as radiation and chemo can cause POF too.
