i'm sorry to hear that...but i would waste time blaming yourself.  what is done is done and know you must concentrate on getting well.  when is your appt. with your oncologist?  have you done some research to see who specializes in this type of cancer that might be near you?  i'm so sorry you are going thru this, but try not to worry too much until something has been confirmed by your onc.
i am keeping you in my prayers, grandmawal and keeping positive!
hugs to you!

wow!  i'm surprised they waited a whole year before doing a biopsy!  have you been going every year for your exam and pap?  if they have been clear, then even if it is the dreaded cancer, it should be in the earliest of stages, so we should be just fine.  i'll keep you in my prayers, gm!!!
let me know what you find out!

i just had my biopsy done today.  i am 48 and have not had a cycle for 2 1/2 yrs.  this was the reason for my biopsy.  the dr. told me, "any bleeding post menopause by more than 12 months is to be considered cancer until proven otherwise".  when she did my biopsy, she had trouble and had to use an additional "tool" (can't remember what it was called) to help her get to my uteran lining.  she said it was because it had been so long since i had my child....things in there tend to shrink up as we age....shame the waist line doesn't do that too!  lol!

other than that, i don't know.  did they say anything about a mass?  why did they want to do the biopsy to begin with?  what were/are your symptoms?
