migraines

by macfab, Oct 18, 2007 09:33PM
I have been having migraines for about 12 years.  The last two years they have gotten more severe, lasting longer and more frequent.  I have recently had an MRI done and results shown that there is a 2cm cyst on the back part of my brain.  I was told the cyst can be drained or something minor of that nature.  I was also told that they are not sure that the cyst is what is causing my migraines.  If it is what is causing my migraines what is something they could do.  Are cyst recurring?

Hi,
Cysts are fluid filled spaces and are usually asymptomatic.Usually a repaet MRI  is done to see if they are growing. Where exactly do you have the cyst? Yes cysts can recur.
