I'M PREGNANT ONE MONTH AFTER A MISCARRIAGE

I HAD A MISCARRIAGE ON NOVEMBER 16TH.  IT WAS CALLED A CHEMICAL PREGNANCY BECAUSE I WAS ONLY ABOUT 4 1/2 WEEKS. (BASICALLY IT WAS LIKE GETTING MY PERIOD 5 DAYS LATER THAN NORMAL. NO CRAMPING AND NO D&C NECESSARY.) NOW IT IS A MONTH LATER ALL LAST WEEK HAD SLIGHT CRAMPING LIKE I WOULD BE GETTING A/F.  TOOK A TEST AND I'M PREGNANT!  I'M EXCITED, BUT SLIGHTLY NERVOUS THAT I COULD MISCARRY AGAIN. ALWAYS NERVOUS WHEN I GO TO THE BATHROOM THAT I MIGHT SEE BLOOD.  HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE?  ANYTHING I CAN DO TO INCREASE CHANCES OF NOT LOSING THIS ONE?

I 'technically' miscarried a week today. I started bleeding at 10weeks for no reason- I had finished work and had the smallest spot of brown blood ever. By Thursday night it was slightly more. Friday I went to the drs who told me she would book me in for an U/S but they couldn't get me in until the Monday! Friday afternoon it went red and started clotting so we went to A&E who took a urine sample and told me to rest until the scan. Over the weekend it got much worse and I resigned myself to the fact this was a miscarriage and the baby would not be there. My partner was much more positive and so took the news much worse. The U/S showed no baby but a collapsed sac at the bottom of my womb waiting to come out. No sign of baby. The lady said the sac looked around 7 weeks, I should have been 10weeks+5. I am now passing it naturally and all I can say is it is devastating that you have to go through the pain of losing something that was a part of you as well as having (quite frankly) the worst period of your life. The only blessing (and shame) is we never saw the baby, never heard a heartbeat etc and in that respect it almost feels like a dream. I had no symptoms other than mood swings and a couple of cravings the entire time and to be honest I'm scared of getting pregnant again. I dont know how anyone can go through this more than once and hats off to any ladies who have managed this and go on to have a healthy baby. It is just so annoying when you see the sixteen-seventeen year olds who dont want the child, who drink and smoke throughout pregnancy and have a healthy baby. Whereas people who can be responsible, can give the child a loving home and a good start on life cannot see it through. God works in mysterious ways!

I just had a MC on June 20 after trying from 2004 that resulted in a MC. We were so happy I was having a baby. After so long and I had lost 70 pounds and was healthy as I think I ever was. I had a scan at week 7 to 8 but baby only measured 5. My Dr said he thought my dates may be off and gave me the benefit of the doubt. The 20 I started bleeding. I just said to my husband last night that I wondered if I could get pregnant before I get my period. After finding this I am so hopeful and will take the right steps that I need.. My Dr is the best and he thinks it won't take long. I hope hes right....

In my own personal experience after 2 previous miscarriages, i got pregnant immediately after 2 or 3 weeks.  I have just had my third miscarriage and had to have a d and c at 10 weeks. Yes u can get pregnant very quickly and before your first period.  I did twice and i did talk today with my GP about trying again straight after a d and c and he said there is no evidence to suggest its not ok.  I think they like u to wait so they can date your pregnancy.  If you ladies have irregular cycles after a miscarriage chart your temp every morning and watch for other fertility signs and that will enable you to know wen u can get pregnant.  U can see on your chart wen your temp goes up wait for 10 days then do a test.  I have been charting for 14 years now since the birth of baby no 2 and it has enabled me to know whats going on.  Most women do not ovulate on day 14 as i have found to be the case in my own life so charting is the best way to know.  This is all out of my own experience of course and each one of us is unique and different.   My heart goes out to you all who have lost a little one.  I hope this will help some of you who are going thru what i am.  ******************* has help with charting and related issues for those of you who are interested.  We are all in this together and i wish each and every one of you special mums and mums to be all the best in your endeavours to get pregnant and have a successful pregnancy.  Enya

I had a missed miscarriage in April. Didn't find out untill the ultra sound which was really devastaing. That would have been our first. I bled for almost two weeks. Then didn't get my period until 38days after I first started spotting. After that I had a normalish 24 day cycle. We had started TTC right away regardless of the doctors suggestions to wait three months. She explained that there is only soft evidence to suggest waitng a few cycles is better. My opinion is that If no one really knows for sure what causes a miscarriage, I don't believe them for one second that they know waiting three months will give you better chances. It's a toss up. I had never heard about your cervix not being strong enough (someone mentioned that in an earlier post) but that kinda makes sense. On the other hand they say your more fertile right after a miscarriage. Either way we didn't want to wait so we didn't. It was our choice
This month it was around the time I was supposed to start my period but I had a feeling something might be different this time. I had some cramps which I had the last time I was pregnant. I had a HPT at home so I tried it and came back negative. Then I spotted a few hours later. Thought what a waste of a test. The blood I saw was faint light pink (same as last time) but there was a bit more of it so I didn't put two and two together. Even when it went away the next day I still didn't get it. A little more pink blood the day after. Nothing ever ended up in my panties it was always in my cervix so no way did that count as any kind of a period. But the negitive test through me for a loop. I waited 4days from the last test to test again. This time I bought those really cheap ones and it came back POSITIVE. Due to ovulatuion I would be 4 weeks and a few days. that's includeing those two weeks that don't really count. Everything is so similar to last time so I know it's right. But I'm obviously scared because it's the same as last time!! I honestly wish I'd have morning sicknes everyday just so I'd know I was still pregnant. I feel like my body tricked me last time because I was 11 weeks when I was told it only developed to 6weeks and I'm so afraid it will happen again. It's all so confusing because I have cramps but alot of people say it's just your muscles of ligiments stretching and I've heard others say cramps and backpain are a sign of miscarriage. Nature ***** if it's going to confuse us by having the miscarriage and pregnancy symptoms so similar. I go see my Doctor next week for blood test to confirm. I hear everyone talking about the HCG levels but I don't recall anyone ever telling me mine. I know I can't do anything either way but I don't want to be blind sided again. Will most doctors do that test for you if you ask them? And do they do it multiple times so you can see that it's increasing?

Good luck to everyone. I'll try to update this with any news

Hi everyone
I want to share my story and hopefully get some feedback or personal story as well. I miscarried on May 28th I was 8 week pregnant, stopped bleeding on June 5. Last week I started feeling nausea, back pain, sore breasts, tiredness etc.. all the pregnancy symptoms but I'm too scared to take a pregnancy test. Is it possible to get pregnant that early after miscarriage and what do you think the percentage of miscarriage again? If anyone had the same story happened to them please write back.

Thank you
