I'M PREGNANT ONE MONTH AFTER A MISCARRIAGE

I HAD A MISCARRIAGE ON NOVEMBER 16TH.  IT WAS CALLED A CHEMICAL PREGNANCY BECAUSE I WAS ONLY ABOUT 4 1/2 WEEKS. (BASICALLY IT WAS LIKE GETTING MY PERIOD 5 DAYS LATER THAN NORMAL. NO CRAMPING AND NO D&C NECESSARY.) NOW IT IS A MONTH LATER ALL LAST WEEK HAD SLIGHT CRAMPING LIKE I WOULD BE GETTING A/F.  TOOK A TEST AND I'M PREGNANT!  I'M EXCITED, BUT SLIGHTLY NERVOUS THAT I COULD MISCARRY AGAIN. ALWAYS NERVOUS WHEN I GO TO THE BATHROOM THAT I MIGHT SEE BLOOD.  HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE?  ANYTHING I CAN DO TO INCREASE CHANCES OF NOT LOSING THIS ONE?

In the beginnig of January 2011, I had weird symtopms cramping (sharp pains on my right side,) pee often, headaches, tiring, spotting, couple weeks later I went to clinic and I was pregnant 4.5 weeks. I was nervous because I didn't knew I was pregnant. In march 9 2011 I was 11.2 weeks and i had a m/c. That night was very scary I didn't knew what was happening I couldn't realized until couple hours later. Now we are in April 28, 2011, ever since i had my m/c a week later i started using my birth control pills i have had only one menstrual period so far Im bearly going to start on my secound menstrual but im feeling very strange. I'm cramping horrible, tired, sleepy, I'm not really hungry i just want to sleep. We been having relationship me and my husband and every time we do it he always cums in me. But after my m/c a week later we were already having sex. Is it possible that I can be pregnant again? Is it safetly? I'm so scared because I don't want to get happy and then lose it again.

Hi everyone!

I am in the same boat as many of you. I found out I was pregnant with my first child on March 17th and miscarried on March 28th. It was devastating! My doctor told me that because I miscarried naturally (no D&C) we could start trying again right away. We had unprotected sex the week after the miscarriage and have used protection ever since, on the fence as to whether or not we want to give ourselves some emotional healing time. Now I am feeling the same symptoms I had when I found out I was pregnant, minus the cramps, but a lot of those symptoms are similar to PMS symptoms, and I have not yet started my period. When should I take a test? If I am pregnant, I want to get it confirmed right away by my doctor's office, but I am afraid to be disappointed.

Dawny i agree with you 100%. Making sure your body is ready is the keep to a healthy "next" pregnancy. Its going on 3 months and it is killing me. It is destorying my life. we've been trying for 8yrs now and the last 2.5 yrs have been an uphill battle for me. This baby situation is taking over my whole life. i waking up thinking bout it, all day it is on my mind, i cry myself to sleep eveeynight thinking about it. Sometimes i think why not me? Selfish right. I would be an amazing mother I know i would be..i have so much love to give... Sooo HEARTBROKEN!!!

Hi i know what you are going through i myself have just had a miscarriage at 12 weeks 2 days before my scan date. I was rushed to hospital by ambulance as they could not stop the bleeding. Not only did we loose our baby but my hubby nearly lost me too, having to go through the contractions and everything and then have a d& c was soul destroying so i know exactly what you are going through. You so want to try again but need to have chance to grieve, my doctor told me to wait at least 1 month due to everything my body had been through i would stand more chance if i wait a while. I really do hope that you get that baby you want and im sure that next time everything will be ok for you. Just make sure your body is ready to try again to maximise your chances of having a health pregnancy.

Bbabyboo: it could very well be possible that you are pregnant again. But you could also be testing positive because your levels have not reached zero yet. I would wait a week and test again or i would call your dr. I hope this helped. Good luck :-)

Ladies, my name is Reginah and I had something the doctors called a pregnancy that never developed. I had been trying for over a year and my husband nd I just kept having faith.When i found out i was pregnant i was really excited and i was only 4weeks, and i felt so devasted when my scan didnt show the embroe sack and my HCG just kept on dropping from 600 to 350 in jst a week. The evacuation was done on 25 March 2011.Yesterday, April 26 I did a home preg test and it was positive (one stipe very visible the other nt so visible).I am scared to go to the doctor, i am actually nt sure what to do because i have not yet had my first period after they did the Evacuation. The doctor said we could start right away and we did, 2 days after the evacuation was done and i am really wondering if i could really be pregnant again or if its still in my mind.i am really scared,pls advice.
