Miscarriage?

I am hoping that someone can please tell me that the Doctor is jumping to conclusions! I am 5-6 wks pregnant and had some very light spotting last night. I have a history of miscarrige and went to the ER. The sonogram showed a gest. sac but no yolk sac or fetal pole. My hcg level was 12800. The doctor told me that I would probably miscarry sometime soon. I have not cramped or spotted all day today. My actual first appt is tomorrow 12/21 for another ultrasound. Im not sure that much will change in only 2 days! I am so scared. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Hope everything is ok. Before my m/c I  started to spot on then nothing, then a few days lighter bit of a heavy bleed, then nothing, went for scan, no heart beat, then few days later I miscarried. I hope everything is ok for you but to be it sounds like you may have another miscarriage. Sorry you are going through this. xx

It also could just be that its too early to see anything. When I first when in last year around this time, by my period I should have been like 8-9 wks. but we saw nothing but the sac. I had to go back a few weeks later and a heartbeat was detected.
Good Luck

I'm sure they will be repeating your hcg level.  In a normal pregnancy, this should double every 2-3 days.  If you hcg level is dropping, then I am afraid that you may be having another miscarriage.

Also, with a hcg level of 12,800, they should see something by now in the uterus.

I am sorry you are having to go thru this.
