Hi, I am 29 years going through my second miscarriage which happend last week. My first miscarriage was last year July(9 weeks pregnant). This time I was 12 weeks pregnant but based on the ultrasound the size of the gestational sac was 7weeks and 4 days. My doctor just told me this time I had twins. This is so heartbreaking.
I cried a lot, asking my self why this had to happen.
Twice for me. I know there is a lot of other women that had so many m/c. Now my physician is sending me to see a fertility specialist. Just wanted to know if anybody has a say on this?

that sounds normal. after a misscarriage the brown one would probably have been your body expelling old blood and any other old pregnancy products. as for the bleeding it can happen, your cervix would  be very sensitive

I agree-  I am sure it is normal-  if you are not having bad cramps, and if there isn't a bad odor (sorry...) but that is usually a sign of infection-  if it is just bleeding, then I agree, I think it is just your body trying to get back to normal... which is good, it means if you want to concieve again you need your body to get back to normal...

good luck!

Those questions above are good questions.  I just had a miscarriage in feb-  I had a D&C-  did you miscarry naturally, or did you have a D&C?  I bleed for 10 days after my D&C and then it seemed to stop, so my husband and I had sex-  after the sex the bleeding came back- bright red for about 5 more days.  Now it seems to be competely gone-  we just had sex yesterday with no blood.  Are you bleeding everytime you have sex?  you should probably see your doc if you are- the poster above is right, you may have an infection.

First of all, i'm sorry for your loss. also, i'm sorry i don't have information for you, but i have some questions that may clarify your post, and perhaps someone can then answer you. Is your primary question about bleeding after sex, or did you want to know something about your cycles too? How soon after the miscarriage did this bleeding occur? days? weeks? just recently? does it happen everytime you have sex? what color was the blood, and how much was there? (dark brown would indicate old blood, bright red would indicate newer blood)

i have not had any miscarriages, but from what i understand after reading this forum for so long, many women bleed on and off for up to months after a miscarriage. your bleeding can also be unrelated to your miscarriage (STD, infection, etc...). I feel bad that noone has answered you yet today, but i thought maybe if you gave more helpful info, someone could help you.
Good luck.
