Hi. I don't know what this could be, but I doubt it's MS. That's because no amount of shaking or other manipulation can relieve MS sensory problems. They come and they go on their own schedule.

Till you see your doctor, though, here are a couple of things that might help these sensations--cold and hot. Cold, such as the packs kept in the freezer, applied for maybe 20 minutes. Hot, as in Icy Hot, the rub with eucalyptus and other ingredients that produce a weird feeling. What these things do is more or less mask other sensations, or confuse the nervous system. The underlying problem will probably remain, but if you can't feel it you're more likely to be able to sleep. I find these remedies do help my MS burning and other weirdnesses.

Hi there,

I'm not really sure what you've described is specific enough to be related to MS, burning is often nerve related, it would be a good ideas for you to discuss this with your doctor and get it checked out.

Cheers..........JJ
