Hi All,
No really I'm fine, as my fine goes. This post was done back in Dec, and I was having a really tough time with my eyes.
I have trouble with them quite a bit, but right now they aren't too bad. I did find an optomologist who treats ON and other serious eye problems. Not being dx, I can't say for sure that it's ON, but I'm pretty sure that's what is causing my problems.
Thank all of you for worrying about me, it is greatly appreciated. You are all so very special to me!!
Love & Hugs,
doni
Doni,
PLEASE go to the ER. Everyone is right that they will treat you without insurance. Last month when I had ON you all told me to go to the ER and I did. You gave me the push that I needed and I am so thankful. I received iv steroids for 5 days and it probably saved my vision.
Don't be a martyr - you are worth it so go NOW PLEASE
Hugs,
Erin :)
Simply put honey...if any of us were in the same situation, what would be the first thing you would tell us???? GET THY BACKSIDE TO THE ER NOW!!! I hope that you find a way to do so and you don't play around with this honey...you only have two eyes and no amount of $$ is worth the possibility that you could lose the use of your two precious eyes...please, please, pretty please, get some steroids or some sort of help ok?
Love ya,
Rena
I am stubborn because I am a red head ( well now thanks to Clairol #8G) I can stay that way, but sweetheart, when it comes to your eyes, that's nothing to fool around with. Insurance or no insurance.
Come on honey.....get seen, so you know what is going on.
Big Hugs,
Heather
Hi
Ok stand aside you all lol this is my best mate here lol
you girl they are all right and although you have had the brain MRI it was like mine useless without contrast ( which might change when i get the one with contrast yey)
Go to the ER i did when you all told me didnt want to but it was the best thing eve hun as the dr did me a full work up gave me an ijection and pills to follow and best of all wrote to my dr to be refered to a neuro and i believe if you do this a dr will see your history give you an mri with contrast and they will see there is something wrong, blow the money i've told you i will lend it you please please
my eyes are like this my eyes feel like they are going to pop out of my head and when i told my ENT this he was angry that the neuro had not done a contrast MRI.
GO TO ER BEFORE I KICK YOUR BOTTOM LOL
please so worried about you hun.

I hope you get to feeling better very soon! We will all keep you in our thoughts and prayers!!
Doni,
You are worth any cost. I was raised to believe I did not deserve expensive medical care. You matter!
Alex
I'm redheaded AND Southern...got you beat! LOL
Thanks Rendean, I am a stubborn one....hahaha I think that comes from being a Southern woman too!!
Hugs,
doni
I just found this post...bad girl,(just kidding) but honestly you should have gone to the ER. I know, us Southern women are tough but there's a time to get honest and deal with your pain. Now that I know you're 2 hours away from me, next time I WILL load your butt into the car and take you to the ER. Remember, Southern women are strong willed and that does include me. :-)
Anytime you need anything, give me a "hollar" and I'll be right there to help.
Hugs,
Rendean
I'm glad that you're doing somewhat better. I was hoping for "all better", but I'll take "some".
If you get any worse, will you go to the ER then? Do I need to fly out there, rent a car, throw you (gently) in it, and drive you there, fill out the paperwork, etc.? Don't make me come out there! :o)
I miss you, worry about you, and pray that you'll be better soon.
Hugs,
Kathy
Thanks everyone.
Moki told me about this post and I wanted to thank you all for your care and concern.
Also my buddy Shell for thinking of me, she's special like that.
My eyes are a little better, but still can't look at the screen too long. I will be back soon, I miss all of you terribly.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
doni
Poor Doni. I hope she takes these recommendations.

Doni , please go to ER . Don't worry about insurance , they are there to help .
I live in Arizona and I went to ER couple of time , there were always full of people who needed translators . I doubt if all of them had a health insurance .
Please go to ER.
I will keep you in my prayers .
Vanda
doni,
please do what you know you should do!
Love , Lu
See hon, I'm not the only one who thinks you need to go to the ER!! You and I've talked about this but now as you can see I've got back up. heehee
Please, go get this checked out.
Prayers, love and lots of huggie wuggies
Moki (pushy bear)
Doni dear,
Please go to the ER! They can't turn you away, as ladygraycloud said. A lot of hospitals will forgive any bills incurred if you fill out a form; it's called a hardship waiver, or something like that.
I'll be praying for you, my friend.
Lots of love and bunches of hugs,
Kathy
Know that your friends here love you and are thinking of you.
Please take care of yourself.
Love and (((HUGS))))
Wanna :o)
Doni GO TO THE ER!!! GET THIS DOCUMENTED AND MAYBE GET SOME STEROIDS!!!
HEAR ME??!!!!
GO NOW!
I hope you are feeling better soon, take care, do go to the emergency room, eyes are important and sometimes steriods can reduce the inflammation and stop some of the damage, I am so glad we don't have to deal with the insurance stuff in Australia!
I would never be able to go to the Dr, everything here is free or minimal cost.
Good luck, I hope that you do recover and feel well again soon as all your forum friends miss you.
Udkas
