Still here..GYN ordered the CA125

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is feeling good. I've been really busy with doctors appointments these last few weeks and I have to admit, I'm pretty tired but hanging in there. My blood has been therapeutic on the Coumadin for the last 2 weeks so that part is at least good.

I went back to the GYN for the pain I was having in my lower right side. As some of you know, I was worried about the right ovary because I just lost the left ovary, due to a cyst the size of an orange that reeked havoc, and I had to have surgery to put things back where they belonged. My doctors ordered a ultra-sound and it was confirmed that within 3 weeks of surgery, I have another cyst on the right ovary. It's about 6cm.

We discussed watching it because this is the only form of hormones I can have since I have had blood clots. My doctor also ordered a blood test. It's the CA125 test for cancer. I'm not sure why they're doing that test but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. She mention that the cyst had a different look on the outside of it but I'm not sure of the word she used to decribe it. Can ovarian cancer grow that fast? Does anyone know about this test? The weird part about it was that once my blood was within therapeutic ranges the pain in my lower abdomen got tolerable. I'm still having bladder issues though.

I had another ultra-sound on my leg to see the condition of my blood clots and if anything grew back because I wasn't therapeutic for 3 weeks. I'm not sure of the results yet. My neurologist appointment got pushed back until later this month. My toes still don't bend all the way and the whole leg will shake when I try to bend them. Anybody know what that is or have that problem? My double vision and the left eye blurriness has returned but it comes and goes. Other than some weird sensations I'm hanging in there and recovering.

Hope everyone is doing good
Love ya :)

I can't say anything hafway intelligent about your concerns, but still I send good wishes and lots of moral support. I'm hoping that your test will quickly put your mind to rest. I do understand why you are worried. Anyone would be.

So hold it together a while longer and all of the forum will join in to send you strength and health!

Hugs,

3 in one day! You're going to be tired tomorrow.

It is draining but at least I'm feeling better. Either that or I'm getting use to feeling like ****. LOL ...I think it would be great to wake up and not have any aches or pain.

Hopefully between all these doctors I'm seeing, someone will figure out what I have. :)

I was wondering how you are!!!!  Seems as though you have had to go through so much lately, but I am glad you are hanging in there!!!!! Hopefully things will get stable for you soon.  It is absolutely draining sometimes just trying to fit in all of the doctor appointments.  I have three tomarrow, which will eat up most of my day!  Seems as soon as you get one over with then it is time for another one, an endless cycle, it  seems!!!!  Keep us updated on the results of your test, and take care of yourself and try to get in some rest!

Thinking of you
