Appointment postponed

I've just been told my Neuro appointment has been re-scheduled by a few days.  I know a few days isn't big in the grand scale of things but I'm so wild I could cry!!  By the time I actually get in to see him, I'll have been waiting over five months.  Do these guys not realize we have families, lives, jobs and some days are such a struggle even getting out of bed is an effort in itself?

So frustrating! I totally feel your pain -- probably literally, to some extent! When every day is difficult, the wait is miserable.

I'm waiting to get a call from the MS specialist to say that I can call and make an appointment. Yep. Can't even make an appointment yet. It's been three months. Who knows how long it will be once I can actually get an appointment. Trying to get into another spot in the meantime.

Totally messed up!

Oh I know that feeling, you feel so like no one consulted you before doing it!

Perhaps there were good circumstances?  I know my cardiologist did that and it turns out he got called to the ER for a cardiac emergency and was gone most of the day, so everyone got rescheduled where they could fit them in.

I guess it happens, but doesn't make our anxiety over waiting so long for an appointment go away!
