Blurry vision that changes from one eye to the other

Like a stuffy nose can change congestion from one nostril to the other, my eyes change blurriness...This morning my left eye was blurry but my right eye which can see good felt weird...Now my right eye is blurry and I can feel it in my left eye, even though it's vision is clear...The clearer eye always has a sensation...It happens back and forth during the day, and is concerning me because I'm thinking tumor or course, and that they can't make glasses for changing vision...My 12 yr old, who doesn't know about this, said that one of my pupils was bigger than the other the other day so I got up to look but didn't see it...I made an appointment, but it takes awhile if your new...If anyone has any info. or if it's happened to you, please respond!!! Betty....Hello there I THANK YOU for that question and the PRECISE way it was phrased...although why did you post here in the ms forum...I'm just asking because I follow many forums and as you can see I am fairly new here and I am on a search mission...(I am learning all I can, ((actually it is where God has been leading me!)), Now It is so strange that this one person (me),could have so many symptoms that the drs can not figure it out...I will FIGURE IT OUT))...Now, do you show other symptoms of ms?.....I have the EYE thing,,,just as you wrote...., I was never diagnosed with ms,....fibromyalgia in 89 and... NOW PLEASE do NOT let this scare you but the eye thing for me and the uneven pupils were after the s.a.h. and surgery in 2005 which I KNOW was a systemic symptom of the exposure I had earlier, which made the blood pressure go up which caused the petite gran-maul seisures and migrains which as soon as put on INDERAL 60 mg 2 xs daily, then bumped up to 120 mg 2 xs daily, no more migrains....now 5 years later, 7 1/2 months after moving from exposure to CLEAR AND CLEAN apt, I think I will be able to wean off as the pressure is now lower than it was prior, I have tested it by not taking a pill before going to appointment and it is hoovering right where it should although UNTIL THE DR KNOWS AND AGREES,( this has all just happened in the last 2 weeks and my next appointment is middle of june),  I will still take as prescribed....(  THIS PART OF THE STORY GOES UP THERE) , After the surgery in 05,..   I then moved into a house and later I found MOLD...by the time I moved in sept last year...I was almost dead....NOW SINCE I AM HERE AND JUST STARTING TO FEEL BETTER AND STRONGER AND NOW NOT USING OXYGEN FOR THE LAST 1 MONTH.....THE EYES ARE M-U-C-H WORSE AND WHEN I WENT TO MY EYE DR  and said CLOUDY, on and off...sometimes much worse and it bounces from eye to eye, Sometimes can see through bi-focal...other times better with no glasses...HE SAID ... CATERACTS HAD COME FROM STEROIDS AND OXYGEN USE...... SO NOW I NEED TO surgery to HAVE FIXED WHAT THE MOLD DESTROYED ...WHICH ALL LEADS BACK TO THE INITIAL INJURY OF THE CHEMICAL EXPOSURE OF THE NATURAL GAS FOR THOSE THREE AND A HALF YEARS."96-00"..............WERE   YOU ever in an exposure situation?? .. the symptoms of those are simular to diseases that start off as stuffy nose ALL THE TIME...OR....ON AND OFF...cold type symptoms, tired, weak, dizzy, eyesight wacky, teeth..(loose then tight next week), strange things that are like a snow ball rolling downhill.....It then becomes systemic and the next thing you know you have a list of diseases and syndroms (syndromes) that the dr has named to match the symptoms you show.....WITHOUT KNOWING FOR SURE THE CAUSATION FACTOR.....BUT WHAT IF THE CAUSE was found ...There are some things that are known to cause problems however...What about the ones that are classified under....It can't hurt you...small amounts....no....I DISAGREE FULL FORCE!!!!
   Betty, have you been exposed to any type of chemicals for an extened time frame because I'm starting to find out through just my own documentation, a big link between that and these named conditions....Besides I feel, God did not make our bodies to function any way but perfectly!!!  Just a thought, I'm in LEARNING!! ATSDR doesn't list Natural gas as a toxic substance.  The chemical added to make it smell (methylmercaptain) is listed.  It is also a naturally occurring substance in the body.  Vision is carried by the second cranial nerve to the optic cortex in the cerebrum.  The size of the pupil is controlled by Cranial Nerve 3 (although drugs and chemicals like mydriatics can have an effect).  Movements of the eye are controlled by Cranial nerves 4 and 6.  The sensory feeling on the globe of the eye is provided by Third Branch of Cranial Nerve 5.  

There are only a couple of places that have common points for both eyes.  For Cranial Nerve 2, it is the optic chiasm where the optic nerves and optic tracts meet.  For cranial nerves 3,4,5 & 6, it is back at the pons.

One of the common reasons for blurriness alternating between eyes, is dry eye syndrome.  Your best bet is to see an Ophthalmologist.
