Hi,
Just wanted to answer a few questions. I don't work out of the home, but have 3 little boys that keep me plenty busy. Uk, you and I have a few things in common as mine are 10,5 and 3.
I have not been dx'd. What led me to this site is that I was dx'd with a Neurogenic bladder and urologist feels I've had a problem for awhile, but was able to get by. I had my bladder lifted in June and all the issues began. My sx are not related to the bladder lift based on a cystoscopy and I was dx'd with Neurogenic bladder based on EMG and Urodynamics testing. Now it seems my bowel doesn't work either.
Due to the Bladder issue which appears be a big red flag I have been referred on and have a Neurology appointment on Monday. I've had an L-spine MRI with my PCP to rule out spinal stenosis and cord compression it was negative, so that pretty much leaves Neurological.
I'm friends with a few Dr's and when I discussed my situation with two the first thing they both said is "do they think it is MS". I hadn't thought about it at all and then when I looked it up, so many sx I've had overtime are starting to make sense. I'm fairly sure, once I see the Neuro that will start a whole new round of MRI's, perhaps bloodwork. I do know I have balance issues, not extreme but enough that I've noticed and some other obvious sx that now make sense.
I've just started down this path, but it seems I'm moving quicker than some and hope I have a good Neuro (his speciality is MS and Muscular disorders).
Thank you for the replies.
Hi
Im feeling that same way today i look at all the house work to be done and im just overwhelms me too but i try to take little by little and sit down and take breaks inbetween (which is hard with three kids under ten at home thank god today there at a holiday camp ).
My legs get weak like that like they cant hold me up it usually last a few days or a couple of hours and heat is often a triggar for me. Im not dx yet and have not been on this site that long either, im not aware of at what point your at now have you been dx yet? iv had a MRI and am awaiting results.
I had some bladder issuses for a while but have not had any issues for three weeks now but have awfull bowel problems in that i live on senna to keep things going (sorry if thats too much info)
and also have trouble with loss of sensation down below which causes some problems in other
areas.
Like Janey said doing simple exercise helps it can hurt sometimes when im doing them but stretching exercises do help the muscles.
Take Care
Hello,
I do not envy you bladder problems and the fatigue. Are you working? Do you take regular breaks?
Try and close your eyes for about 10 minutes on the days when you do eg housework, before each task. No every day may be so hard,... I can not genuinly say I completely understand, I can only offer my compassion, as at the moment I do not suffer from bad fatigue and I also work full time.
Are you waiting to be or are you diagnosed? Are you able to do any exercise at all to strenthen your muscles?
Try take it easy on a bad day, it sounds this could be one of them and have a fresh start tomorrow.
All the best.
