Central California Neuro

So, not to BRAG....

but, you know how I have mentioned that I think my new neuro is great?  And perhaps the best Dr. I have been to?

Well, today I was standing in line at the grocery store and saw her picture on the cover of a magazine!!!  Top 100 doctors in the valley... and she would be #1.

Dr. Tanya Warwick, Neurologist

I feel truly blessed!

So, if you are around this area, give her a try (but try not to make it harder for me to get an appointment, okay?)  ;0)

So, first of all, instead of having me fill out a questionnaire before my visit, she asked me the questions herself!  (Already leaps ahead of the other neuro)  And - get this - when I answered the questions, she made eye contact with me, listened to what I said made notes and then followed with other pertainant questions! (Now bounds ahead).

Then she explained things to me, like what she was doing (reflex tests) and why, and what she thought of my responses.  Then she ordered MRIs and explained to me what they would do during the MRI, what they were looking for, what the follow-up would be, whether or not I would need a LP and what LPs are like.  She was honest, and comforting at the same time.

She explained what the different possibilities were that could be causing my symptoms - and not for a second did she make me feel as if she didn't believe me!  Nor did she try to downplay my symptoms or feelings.

So, I think these things both make her different and the best doctor at the same time.  I told my husband this when I called him as soon as I left her office the first time.  I always get nervous when meeting a Dr. for the first time, and within 5 minutes I had complete faith in her.  I must not be the only one that thinks that then, right?

Best of luck to you with this.  All you need to do is ask for a referral to her and they will set up an appt. for you.

I also like that she is right off the freeway in S. Fresno.  Easy for you to get to (except for that it is downtown and that always screws me up!)
