There are a few cardiac thing that should be ruled up for syncope and seizure. Things like Atrial Fibrillation (that can cause clots) and Sick Sinus Syndrome that can cause Syncope. There are also Atrial-ventricular heart blocks that can drop your heart rate and cause syncope. A cardiologist would also be my choice to listen to the valves to detects any murmurs or clicks that might indicate a need for an Echo study. I actually think this is a pretty smart rule out move on the part of your Neuro.

Thanks Bob,
The only heart problem/thing that I know I have is low blood pressure.
I also think it's a smart call on the neuro's part. I'm glad he doesn't have such a big ego where he thinks he has all the answers.
At least he is still trying to help and get down to what's going on with my body.
Thanks again Bob!

I had actually had to go through all of the tests for my heart because my first neuro believed I had a TIA, I just posted about this on the fibro or ms post. My heart is good, except for mitral valve prolapse.
TIA dx has been taken away by neuro #2 but replaced it with seizure disorder.
Good luck
Pamela
