Getting a new neuro and sleep study

I saw my GP today.  All of the fatigue and weakness I am having is not related to my anemia.  My blood work was good, on the upper side of normal.  So the symptoms must be a result of the demylenation. It has been rather warm here...around 80...and I have noticed once I get home, turn up the air, and rest I feel somewhat better.  But the weakness stays.  Yesterday I started having muscle spasms in my leg.  I had not had those for a long time.

I have an appt with  the neurology department at UK.  It is not the MS clinic but when the nurse tried to set up the appt for the clinic she was told (I was standing there) that first I would need to be seen in the residency dept which is overseen by an MS specialist.  If they feel I am a candidate I can then be referred to the clinic.  This time I am not getting my hopes up.  the appt is 4/28

the GP also ordered a sleep study.  I see the doctor on the 19th of April.

I am so fatigued that I went to the groc store to get a few items and I thought I would not make it back to the car.  I can no longer park more that tree or four spaces back from the door if I want to get back without collapsing.  I should have taken my cane.  I will next time.  I know it is not so but to use it is to say I accept this and although I recognize my limitations I will not give up easy.  But I will have to start taking the cane everywhere just in case.

terry sorry you got fatiuge know what that is like, i am glad you are going to this clinic though it sounds hopeful and also the sleep study is a good thing it rules out that the fatiuge is not due to poor sleep or your anemia so its positive that they might do something about this now, i understand not getting your hopes up but like wobbly said one step closer this limboland stuff is hard work mentally.
