MRI results for 9 month old

Cross posted:

My 9 month old has an MRI due to multiple instances of skill regression. He is now tube fed. There has also been an increase in seizure activity.. But whenever I type in his MRI results MS is the only thing that pops up with the same or similar wording.

"There is some non specific posterior peritrigonal white matter multifocal increased T2 signal.

Impression: Mild Posterior peritrigonal periventricular white matter signal. Chronic ischemic changes would be less likely. Pediatric neuroradiology consultation would be helpful."

Any insight would be very appreciated.

So sorry you have to go through this with your little one! Prayers for your little guy. I would definitely get him into a neuro specialist! Hope you get answers soon.

Yeah, what she said.

Frankly, it sounds to me like the radiologist who wrote that was saying he was out of his comfort zone in that situation.

We will pray that the little one has the best life you could imagine, now and forever.

Hi, there, and welcome! Firstly - I'm sorry you're sweet little one is going through such trouble.  Is the doctor managing his seizures and regression a pediatrician, or a pediatric neurologist? He needs a pedi neuro to work with the pedi neurorad.  I wish you big brained MDs  to help you find what's going on with your sweet baby.
