Has anyone had sensations of wasp stings or shocks when skin is touched?

I have had two cervical fusions, lumbar fusion, fibromyalgia, polyosteoarthritis..blah...blah...anyway.  Lately, my muscles and chest wall, low back, groin, and thighs had been hurting terribly, more than usual.  I was wide awake, went to stand up, and my legs just collapsed.  I am terribly weak where muscle strength is concerned.  A new symptom is aggravated neck pain and a very painful sensation of being intermittently stung by wasps on my legs, back, feet, and arms.  It HURTS.  It is exceptionally painful if clothing or some other stimuli touches my skin.  It's like a quite sting and then it disappears.  most of these occurrences are below the waist, but some are on my back.  Nothing in my head or neck yet.  Any comments on what this could be?  I have had 23 surgeries in 11 years due to degenerative spine disease among other things.  I am only 56 and my mind wants to rock while my body wants to crash.  I am seeing my neurologist on Tuesday and would like to ask intelligent questions.  Thanks.

The sting in MS is caused by misfiring nerves sending messages of pain to the brain. Sometimes drugs like Gabepentin, Lyrica, or Trileptal  can help.

Hi, did you find out the cause of the stings? I had spinal fusion last year and stings started after that, also provoked by touch stimulus or clothes.?
