does this sound like Cerebral Sarcoidosis

MRI--- T2 Flair axial image 19 small areas of T2 hyperintensity are noted involving peripheral and subcortical right frontal white matter particularly just superior to the anterior right sylvian fissure which did not exhibit mass effect or contrast enhancement and would be of very questionable clinical significance.

Hey again,

While I certainly can't say what the cause of the 19 T2s is, I will say, stay on with us least to let us know what the Dr. says about this.
I'm so sorry all this has left you unable to wrestle about with your sons.
My guess is that sarcoid would be a contributor to many of your problems but I'm not saying anything you probably don't know.

Caring is a given here and hope you stick around to meet more of us.

Well I have had a lung biop and I do have sarcoidosis of my lungs. My chest swells at times I get lumps under my arm pit, shortness of breath at activity, legs cramp all the time after walking short distance and swell up where you can leave finger indents,, now my vision is show circles of faded shadows, feel like they vibrate, cant focus, see better at a glance than look strait at something, headaches(mild but there), dizziness when getting up, see white flashes when I close my eyes ,like candles. I do have some other conditions        ASD of Heart(hole), EIBS ( exercise induced bronchial spasm) Venous reflux disease ( both legs opperated on VNUS closure ablation). working on all of this with many doctors but no 1 will tell me what that brain thing is. I have depression because I cant physically wrestle or do many activities with my sons. I was a truck driver ,now I do nothing until they can figure this out.The doctor said the reason for the mri was to see if I have mini strokes or cerebral sarcoidosis.  Thanks for carring

Hi there,

Thanks for joining us. Can you tell us more of what is going on with you physically? And, why imaging was ordered? If you already posted this, please point me to that post and I'll get myself updated and try to help.

Hello,
I wish I could answer ur question, but I am afraid not for I am not a doc, but I do also have symptoms of the same thing I'm afraid. I have been looking 4 so long to find answers, but docs r not in a hurry to get there and here we are suffering. I have pain all over my body and wanted to know if u have some of the same symptoms as I.

It started w/this pulsating throb in the middle of my spine. It felt like the same way it feels after u cut yourself and it throbs. IT was so crazy. I was so scared. I have been to a few NL and back to the NS that did my ACD & F on my C5-C6. OF course, I felt he was partially to blame bc he left me not knowing that I had a Chiari Malformation and a T3-T4 compressed fractured vertebrea. I have suffered 4 so long. Of course, now w/all of the symptoms that I am having I am having second thoughts @ it. I always keep a sinus infection and chest. My lymph nodes stay swollen, especially under my ears and my chin. I hurt in my back all the time. I can't stand for long at all. Brushing my teeth is a chore. Taking a bath should be relaxing...I do thank God when I first get in bc it feels so good then I can't feel the temperature of the water and the pain is always there. I don't know if I do have what u do, but I bet ur suffering and I am so sorry 2 here that. I don't like it when people suffer, but u know there is a reason 4 everything and even though it is hard...as it is said.."What don't kill us, only makes us stronger" and I believe it.

I have been dx with: Cervical,Lumbar & Joint/Hip DDD, Spinal Stenosis, Myofascial Pain Syndrome,Spondylosis,Cerivcalgia(don't know much @ this one or what it even is),Fibromyalgia, CM,and I am sure there is more, but my hands get tired w/Carpel Tunnel in both, in which doesn't make sense since I haven't been able to work since '04 and my EMG was normal just over a yr. ago and now it shows it. HMMM? It could even sound like a SCI to me. I just wished I knew what it was! I know u do too.

Can u tell me of ur symptoms. I just want to compare and see if we have anything in common. I am researching Sarcoidosis. If it's not Cerebral then it would be in the lungs 4 me. I just hope the best 4 u and maybe a doc will answer ur question 4 u.

Take care and always..GOD BLESS..Karen
