Babinski on both sides now

Hi all,
I had a left sided Babinski reflex last month at my last neuro appt. (my right side was normal)

Today My GP did a few reflex tests, and I now have a right side Babinski sign, in addition to my left side. She did it many times to double check...

I see my neuro in two weeks, so I will follow up with him and ask him about it then, but I am just wondering, what does that suggest? My right side Babinski reflex was okay at my last neuro visit.

I have been dealing with tons of symptoms, but frankly, with work, family, lupus, and now m.s, I really have tried to put m.s out of my mind. I haven't moved forward with any m.s related stuff whatsoever.

So, here is my question: have any of you experienced something like this, and what does it suggest? Maybe my disease is progressing?

Yes you can have it on one side or on both sides.  But......other diseases can affect it as well as MS.  Here's a site that might help you better.

I would hesitate to guess what this might mean and I'm glad you have this next appointment scheduled.  We do know that even if we are on a therapy for our MS, it is still progressing - sometimes silently in small ways and not always in dramatic form.

Sorry, but I don't remember - are you on an MS therapy now?
