Thanks so much for the progress report. I guess it's a slow go getting over such radical surgery, but it's so good to know you're heading in the right direction. keep up the good work!
One question not related to this: I believe you said you'd had blood work for possible paraneoplastic antibodies, and thank heavens all came up negative. Did the blood analysis seemingly take forever? I asked when I had mine done and got some vague answer about 'maybe having to send it out,' and now I'm waiting and waiting.

Hi Ess,
To answer your question:
My bloodwork for neocerebellar degenerative paraneoplasticsyndrome took about 3 weeks to get back.. in fact, they sent a technician to my home to draw the blood & it went to Athena Diagnostic Labs in MA.
Do you know what Lab they sent your bood specimen to? How long ago?
Hope you get your answers soon and that the results will be negative too.
God bless,
Frann
I don't know where they sent the specimen since the tech had no info to give. It's actually less than two weeks but seems like centuries.
Thanks Frann.

That is wonderful news. Yes, you are truely blessed. Ain't we all? I'll keep you in my prayers for your appointment in Jan. It sounds like this was all in God's great plan.
I'll be praying,
Carol
Hi Frann!
I'm glad you were able to get to the keyboard! You sure have received a blessing by meeting this Neuro. I'm glad you are through the thick of it, but take it easy while you begin to heal.
We're thinking of you!

Hey, Frann!
Oh, my GOODness! I just can't believe how lucky and absolutely sprinkled with sparkle dust you are! How wonderful indeed that they found such a fragile condition that could have left you paralyzed. And how wonderful that you found a new doctor to listen to you and take interest in your case, as you say. God does have a plan for us, as Hot Legs points out. I'm glad it has such a good result for you so far.
Glad to have you back with us. What a gem John is. Thank him again for keeping us posted on your progress. Keep plugging along. Every day is sure to be better! And soon we'll get to the very bottom of what's ailing you for good!
Love,
Zilla*
