Please check out my timeline for NYU

It is located in my journal. Thank you for all your input, I appreciate anyone who takes the time to look over it. Frankly, it's a bit long, but I'll be using it for a reminder for me, not really for the doctor's.

I just don't want to freeze up again, like the first time I went to the neurologist. I just blanked!

I go to NYU next Tuesday.

I am going to be super vigilante in my finger crossing for you tomorrow Sunny...I would pray for you but I just don't believe in that sort of thing but please know that my thoughts are with you and I have a good feeling about this appointment...besides, how could anyone not want to help a sweet little thing like you?

Best of Luck tomorrow and we will be waiting very impatiently to hear how it goes!

Lots and lots of Hugs,

Rena

I don't have the knowledge to offer advice on your timeline, but I am sending along my best to you and your family for safe travels and a productive appoitment at NYU.

I do understand your poetic description, and I too hate flying.  But usually the airport crowds, delays, and such end up being much worse than anything that happens during the flight!

Keep us posted and again, all my best.

Bump.... I'm leaving tomorrow, Tuesday.... ALL PRAYERS... WISHES... THOUGHTS.... WELCOMED!!!

Perhaps you understand.
The feeling.
Of wanting them to be able to tell me something.
That I need more testing.
That I have blue--purple-red disease.
That it's because I ate too much ice-cream.
THat it's becuase I stood on my head one time when I was a kid.
SOMETHING!!
Ok, back to being serious.
I don't want MS.
I WANT you to look for anything that wrong,
and so be it if it's some OTHER weird disease that FINE,
for Pete's Sake TELL ME!!!

Ok.... So, I'm nervous/excited/hate-flying-can't-wait-to-be-back-on-the-ground/happy/sad and all those good things.

Jen.... well, I kinda tried to stick to all the WEIRD stuff, I mean, yeah, I've got the worst acid reflux ever, I'm on three meds for it and so far dr.'s just say it's from the gastroparesis...that's why I got that lung infection this week. Uncool.

And the shortness of breath is a very real thing every week, i monitor my peak flow for that. I deal with my other chronic conditions and didn't think they belonged on here?

For example, the low estrogen produced a LOT of weird symptoms and still can flare up and we have to retest and adjust the medication for that too.

And my hypermobility causes a LOT of joint pain sometimes (ie dislocated joints)

I don't know.... if I should go and put them on here I'm ok with that. I mean, geesh, if I put my whole medical history on here I could write a BOOK!!!!

As far as the urinary thing, yeah, I had a lot of trouble with it last fall, and then with that "flare up" are whatever in July, it got a lot worse again, I'll go and put it on. I flat out forgot that, AHEM, selective memory, ok?

I think it looks excellent!!!  I have been to 5 neurologists and the 2 real specialists (1 was MS and other was neuromuscular) both read every line of mine and reviewed it with me and added info to it.  The others just read and discarded because that was the type of doctor they were.  You will know what you are getting when they get that timeline.

Great job and good luck!!  Is your appt.coming soon?

Looks good to me!  I don't think it's long - it's extensive, but you really need to list every symptom, and this looks like most of them.

I don't see your acid reflux mentioned, or your *ahem* digestive problems...  Any shortness of breath?  Or urinary retention, or dribbling?  List everything that you can think of, including all the yucky stuff!
