New symptoml? Or just stress?

Good morning,
I have been experiencing a new symptom and I am going to try to describe it.  It is an achy kind of pain that runs up my chest...up high and into my neck on the right side. I feel it more when I take a deep breath, but otherwise it sort of fades in and out. Oddly, it feels like muscle pain, or maybe nerve pain.  Not sharp at all, just achy. Also, it seems like my lung capacity has become less.  Sometimes when I am talking, I run out of air before I am done talking, and I have to take a breath in the middle of a sentence!  Of course I am getting a bit stressed over all these tests, hoping for a dx and not wanting to hear it's something really bad, so could it just be stress?

Being in limbo land myself, I understand how you are feeling. It can be difficult to discern if something that is going on is a symptom of what is wrong as the whole, something else or as you said, stress.

I do think though you should let your doctor know what is going on. It could very well be something that needs to be looked at and although you don't want to sound like a hypochondriac to him, (been there) he does really need to know what is happening. Even if it is stress, which is totally understandable, he may be able to give you something to help you out. Tell your doc, I think it is important that you do.
