Hi maudgone.
Welcome to the forum.
Not associated with MS. It is likely that this is related to the "fontenelles"
which are baby's soft spots on the scull, which are flexible and allow the
baby's head to flex and go through the birth canal easier.
Osteogenesis takes place for following few months after birth to close it up, however, due to genetics or other factors that may affect this process, it may result in a weak spot on the skull, felt as indent or similar. It is more common with people of a smaller structure. Usually it is not noticed, until something takes place to bring one's attention to it!
Hope this helps and I hope there are no other signs to bring about any serious health concerns.
Take care!
Niko
Kim and GG are definitely right - a dent in the skull would not be associated with MS. MS is a disease of the central nervous system.
Do you have MS or suspect you might? We would love to hear more about your story if you care to share.
be well,
Lulu
Are you sure it is new? I feel like I'm always finding what seems to be new "dents" in my head. I often tell my husband that I'm really screwed if I ever need chemo because I'm sure I have one UGLY head!
I don't know for a fact, but I would not think that MS would cause this. Your skull is bone so I wouldn't think MS would be the cause.

Hi there and welcome to the forums.
Did you ask your primary care physician in regard to your new indent in your skull? If so, what did he/she say?
I think I can safely state (although I'm not a doctor and not diagnosing over the internet) that a new indent on top of one's head has nothing to do with MS.
If you did not ask your primary doctor this question, I would go ahead and do so to allay your anxiety if you have MS with a new indent on top of your head.
I wish you the best.
